Liu Liu joined the Centre as a PhD researcher at ANU in 2018, working under the supervision of Professor Hongdong Li. He obtained his bachelor degree from the Northwestern Polytechnical University (Honor School). He mainly works on large-scale place recognition and image-based localisation.
