With some of the most passionate and committed researchers in the world, the Centre has made a significant impact to the field of robotics since it was first established.
Over the lifetime of the Centre, we have won hundreds of awards including the Amazon Robotics Challenge and created robots that are improving the environment. We established the Robotic Vision Summer School which provides PhD students and industry with a week-long immersion into robotics at a spectacular location. We also set guidelines for the future of robotics in Australia with the Robotics Roadmap.
