Centre Associate Investigator Jason Ford, who specialises in the area of vision and action with application to remote inspection and monitoring, has been saluted as ‘Academic of the Year’ in the 2019 Australian Defence Industry Awards. He earned the award for his work on a human pilot vision system to detect other aircraft.
