Shawn (Yixiao) Ge

I completed my Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree at ANU in 2020, majoring in Mechatronics. During my degree, I worked on several research projects in robotics and computer vision, and my honours project focused on the implementation of a symmetry-based SLAM algorithm on the Carlie platform. I joined centre in 2020 as an honours student and participated in the Carlie showcase competition in RoboVis. In 2021, I commenced my PhD under the supervision of Prof. Robert Mahony at ANU. My current research interests are dense SLAM and non-linear control theory.
