Amir Rahimi

Amir Rahimi

Amir joined the Centre as PhD researcher at the Australian National University (ANU) in 2018. He is working under the supervision of Chief Investigators Richard Hartley and Stephen Gould. He is also working closely with Dr Mehrtash Harandi. He has a B.Sc. degree in Software Engineering, and a M.Sc. degree in Artificial Intelligence both from University of Tehran, Iran. Throughout his career, he carried out an internship as a research assistant at Technical University of Dresden under the supervision of Prof. Carsten Rother and Dr. Bogdan Savchynskyy. He is currently working on meta-earning and few shot Learning. His research interests are object detection, probabilistic graphical models and deep learning in general.
