Peter Kujala

Peter obtained his bachelor’s degree in mechatronics and robotics (B.Eng, Hons 1) in 2015. During his undergraduate studies at QUT, Peter’s honours project produced a novel, lightweight climbing robot for climbing near vertical surfaces, utilising real-time vision based trajectory control. He has also previously worked as a research assistant within the Centre.

Peter’s thesis topic was “High Speed Control of Robotic Manipulation Tasks in Unstructured Environments”. He was supervised by Associate Professor Ben Upcroft and Professor Michael Milford. In 2018, Peter decided to leave his studies to pursue employment opportunities in Brisbane. He joined Dorabot in January 2019 as the Robotics Engineer and Project Manager in Brisbane.
